The importance of technology

Why do we use technology? I feel we use technology to get the job done faster and more efficient. We use it because it’s easier than doing it by hand or on your own. When you get a writing assignment your first thought is can we type it? That’s because we have become so attached to the computer. Some people also don’t have very good hand writing so it would be neater if you just typed it. So for one example of technology being helpful is when you are writing a paper. Another example is email and AIM. They both are useful when you have a question that you have to ask someone and you know they are at their computer so just send an email or IM them. AIM is very helpful when you are doing an assignment and you just have a simple question. Ask someone from your class and if they don’t know then ask another person. It’s quicker than calling everyone. The same idea for anyone who has a cell phone and texting. If they carry their phone around, they will get it automatically. Say you were in a store and you didn’t want to have the phone glued to your ear when everyone is shopping, it would be more polite if u just sent a simple text. So, technology is just simply faster.

I feel it’s very important. As I was saying before, it’s faster and more efficient. It’s also becoming part of our every day lives. When I get up on the weekends I usually watch television. Most kids, since it is cold outside, are watching alot of TV. TV is becoming a daily routine to some. I know you could live without TV, but most people like to see the news instead of just listening to it on the radio. TV and computers are not the only examples of technology. There are also stereos and MP3 players. MP3 players are essential to any music lover. Instead of carrying around that CD player which takes up too much room and having to change each CD in and out after you listen to it, just put all your favorite albums or songs in one place. Maybe you just want to listen to one or two songs from a certain CD, you could do that. Or maybe you want to put all your favorite songs in one list, you could do that if you made a playlist. Also technology in hospitals is very important. It could be a matter of life or death if you didn’t have some of the equipment they have. Therefore any type of technology is very useful, helpful, important and essential

I feel anyone of any age is listening. It applies to everyone. We can all relate to technology no matter who we are. It’s been apart of one’s life and will continue to be in the future. It keeps growing and expanding everyday.

United States…What does it mean to Canada?

I just commented a kid in Canada, isaac m, about painted his room over. Here’s what i said, ” I just painted my room over too. I have a question, what you you think when you hear the words United States/ What symbols would you use that represent it?” (and i told him where to comment me) but that’s pretty much what i said. I am still waiting for a response.

High school. When you see those words or hear them you think freedom, “bullies”, or homework. I think of all those too. I won’t have a problem with the “bullies” because my sister will be the senior class. I am very lucky with that. I know the homework load with be much heavier. That just means you have to work harder to maintain your A’s and B’s, which i will have to do. I think the more freedom part is what i am looking forward to the most, but with that comes more responsibility. We have to go from the highest class in middle school to the lowest class at high school. I am also looking forward to meeting new people. Even though most of us are coming from Moran, there will still be some new students. I am not looking forward to separating from my best friends. We are taking different level courses for some of our classes. Over all i am looking forward to my high school experience.

Democrat or republican? In school what is more your thing, group activities or working by yourself? I know school has nothing to do with choosing your party but that is sort of the difference between the two. If you are a republican u mostly have to deal with the situation on your own, but a democrat will discuss it with the government and decide as a group. I lean more towards democrats because i agree with how they handle most situations. Working together to resolve an issue is more efficient and affective. If you agree to deal with it one way but someone else says well that’s good but here’s another way of looking at it, they just opened up another way for you to think about and put into affect when deciding how we should handle this.

I saw a video today which had a deeper meaning than most people came across it. It made me appreciate what’s important in life. I feel the song fit perfectly. It told me you can still love someone no matter if you are old or young. Some people thought the old people in love were gross but i felt differently. It told me to take everyday as it comes and takes things for granted because you never know when they willl be gone. Live everyday likes its your last and say everything you want to them now, because you will never know when the next time you will see them.

My sister has influenced me the most after my parents. She is a intelligent person and i wish to be like her. She has also taught me to live outside the box. She is extremely creative and i have also been jealous of that quality about her. When we were little she couldn’t wait for me to learn how to write, she wanted to pass notes under our doors. Instead of just waiting for the teachers to teach me, she taught me. She would create worksheets for me. They would include like dotted letters and i had to trace them and words i had to rewrite, and also pictures of words that started with that letter we were going over. She has always been there for me and is a huge part of my life.

this is not us lol but it is showing sisters sticking together which is what we do

I wonder if we will have heavy snow falls this winter.

See we haven’t had a heavy winter in a while so i wonder if we will this year. I like it when it snows alot for a couple of reasons. First is we get to get out of school. Number 2 is it is fun to play in and number 3 is it looks so beautiful as it floats down. I hopw this will happen this year.

Do you remember the show friends? Well, David Swimmer, Ross, was born on November 12 or is it 2. I went on the history site to find someone and it says he was born on the 12 but i went to 2 other sites and it says 2 , but then i went on another it said 12. So i am not sure which one it is! Well anyway, he was born in Astoria, Queens, New York. He is a very successful and talented actor. He is best known for his role as Ross in the hit show Friends, for 8 years. He also was the voice of Melman in Madagascar. He has also stared on 30 Rock, NYPD Blue, and The Wonder Years. You will also hear him again in Madagascar 2 coming out in 2008. WE hope to see him more in the upcoming year. This is the person that was born on November 12. ( or 2)
